Short Cycle Lamination Hot Press

A short cycle lamination hot press is a tool used in the woodworking industry to laminate sheets of wood, MDF (medium-density fibreboard), or particleboard under high pressure and heat to produce a completed product. The term short cycle refers to the procedures typical short duration. A heating system, a bottom plate, and a press plate make up the machine. The bottom plate receives the laminate sheets. The adhesive in the laminate melts and bonds to the substrate as a result of the heat and pressure applied to the sheets by the press. Furniture, kitchen cabinets, and other objects made of wood are produced using short cycle laminating hot presses.
